I saw the 1st episode so far and I thought it was fast moving and I liked the idea about the special powers they posess. Physics is something that isn't to far fetched an idea and they put it together nicely. The newcomer of course raises suspicion among one of them and they aren't sure what special powers he posseses. The 1st episode starts out well and leaves you wanting to see more.

All Episodes Watched

Ok first, this is a low BUY, it was much better than Scryed but the ending left me hoping for a bit more. Actually after much thought, I'll move this down to a rent, the last few episodes were really t hat incomprehensible. It was a great show though.
In fact unlike Scryed, I WANT 1 or 2 more episodes, Episode 26 had about 6 questions left open.

On to the review:

Hmmm, this seems to me as a rehash of Scryed. Lots of Espers running around and one Esper who wants to buck the trend. Evil Corporation, super powerful people, lolicon girls, and love affairs are all over the place.

We have

Kai Kudo: Renegade Esper who just wants his sister back.
Yuuki: His little non Esper buddy, a bounty hunter.
Asuksa : Yuuki's sister, and in love with Kai.
Shen-Long : Kai's main rival
Shen-Lui : Shen-Long's sister and another person in love with Kai.
Hikaru Kudo : Kai's sickly sister and the main reason Kai works for Ashrum.
Eiji : Head manager of Ashrum.

It was very funny, and not a bad watch. The ending was a bit rushed, but satisfactory. I just hope they make an OVA and complete it.

After you watch the last disk, put on the R1 extras and play 'Meet the Actor', the ADV staff just had a bit of fun with Chris Walken, err Patton. And also check out the Actor Profiles.
