In a near future time when alien attacks have become a common event, a secret (Japanese) organization called the GRA (GRAND RIFUREKUTO AMUDO, Grand Reflect Armor) has developed a very effective defense. Using a technology developed by Dr Sanada Mio, which she calls the 'G-On', certain young students wearing glasses (hence the "G" in the title) are able to harness their strong feelings and manifest those abilities and weapons that prove effective against the alien attacking units. The GRA has sponsored an elite high school to help identify and develop the students who have this ability in the hopes that they can defend not only Japan, but also the earth from the alien invaders. |

Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Yuna |
Watch | Start with Yuna, Savior of the Light, Galaxy Defender, a the number one fan of TV (and real life) superhero Polylina. Add Yuna's friend Yuri, an android with an astonishing appetite. Multiply by Misaki, the new girl in class, who is actually a spy of the Galactic Council, sent to assess a charge that Yuna is trying to take over the galaxy. Divide by the spinster Fraulein D, who is using Misaki as a pawn in a larger scheme to put Yuna, Yuri, the mechanical sprite Elner, and the slow-talking Shiori out of commission so that she can take over the galaxy. Confused? Then we won't factor in the cooking contest, the lost puppy, Fraulein D's hench-women, or any of the other girls who help Yuna save the universe. |
