Yang Gor is a orphan. Picked up by his uncle Gon Kauskei he is brought to the Temple of the Mountain his father trained at. What he doesn't know is the monks believe his father a traitor and his son no better. They abuse and torture him and refuse to teach him how to use his Chi. Running away, he finds an old man suffering from amnesia who teaches him a forbidden technique that could kill with one blow. Accidentally using it on his teacher (who was beating him) Yang Gor runs away to the mountain to the temple of the Dragon Queen, who is no friend of the monks.
Yang Gor must learn how to use his power, find out the mystery surrounding his father and may even earn the hand of the Dragon Queen who has just turned 18 and tradition demands she get married to the first man who can defeat her.
Note : Even though this was animated in Japan, it is the first Anime (I think) that does not feature a Japanese Soundtrack, only a Chinese and English one. |
