Koushiro has lost his way in life. His steady girlfriend broke up with him because their relationship was not going anywhere and she tell him that she has fallen out of love with him, and his job at a dating service was not bringing him any measure of happiness. During his commute home, he sees a high school student on the train, and feels a strange spark of connection. The next day they happen to meet again, he approaches her and asks to spend some time together. In an amusement park, they spend some time and talk, where Koushiro finds himself opening up to her, shedding tears at the memories of his broken heart, and where he finds himself being comforted by her. |

It turns out that Soubi and Seimei used to be a fighting pair, whereby Soubi was the "Fighting Machine" and Seimei was the "Sacrifice". Now that Seimei is gone, Soubi 'belongs' to Ritsuka who will become his new "Sacrifice". After learning that Seimei was killed by an organization known as the "Seventh Moon", Ritsuka decides to join forces with Soubi and investigate the truth behind his brother's death. |
