After Ataru's mother, Moroboshi-san, recaps the first 21 episodes of Urusei Yatsura, Ataru and his class go on a field trip to visit historical places in Japan (Golden Temple and more). A kunoichi (female ninja) named Kaede accidently loses a secret document and her master demands she find it. As it happens, Ataru discovers is, thus Kaede must pursue him in order to gain the scroll. Because she's so nice, she doesn't just take it from him. As such, Ataru assumes she has feelings for him. Unfortunately for him, Lum-chan has rented a school uniform and has been tagging along to make sure he doesn't stray. Will Kaede regain the scroll? Will Ataru kiss Kaede?
