Yuta Akigawa is an elementary school boy who has a problem with computers. He had a scary incident as a baby and has avoided computers and technology ever since. Then his family moves to a city run entirely by computers and has begin carrying a cellphone. One day, he opens a phone to read an email message and gets sucked him inside his mobile phone, and into "net space." There he meets three mysterious creatures named Pit, Pot, Pat — PiPoPa for short. The four new friends go on a series of adventures that takes them between the human world and the net world.

One of the warriors, Karasu encounters the Dragon Torque in the form of a young teenaged girl named Haruka. She looks just like his Haruka, his beloved whom he lost some ten years ago in the war. Defending the Dragon Torque is the boy Yuu, the incarnation of Karasu in that timespace. Karasu still feels the loss of his Haruka and is troubled at how he was unable to keep his promise to protect her. But can Karasu carry out his mission and risk the life of Haruka to bring her back in time to save Lacrima?
